Olympic Archery Academy is a premier archery training center located in the Thrissur district of Kerala state, India. Our academy specializes in providing comprehensive training programs for individuals interested in the sport of archery, including both traditional Indian bow as well as modern equipment like recurve and compound bows. Our academy boasts a team of well-experienced coaches who have extensive knowledge and expertise in the sport of archery. Our coaches are passionate about teaching and have a proven track record of producing top-notch archers. They provide personalized attention to each student and work with them to develop their skills and techniques, regardless of their skill level."

Our Mission

Target Archery

Developing skilled archers: develop skilled archers who can compete at the regional, national, and international levels. This could involve providing specialized training programs, coaching from experienced Coaches, and access to state-of-the-art equipment.

Promoting archery as a recreational activity: promote archery as a fun and engaging recreational activity for people of all ages and backgrounds. This could involve offering classes and workshops for beginners, organizing open tournaments and events, and creating a welcoming and inclusive community of archers.

Providing access to archery for underserved communities: This could involve offering scholarships or reduced-cost programs to students, partnering with local organizations to provide archery opportunities to disadvantaged youth, and creating programs specifically for people with disabilities or other special needs.

Our Vision

Developing skilled archers in Kerala: The academy's aim to produce athletes who can compete at the regional, national, and international levels, and represent Kerala in archery competitions.

Promoting archery in Kerala: This involve offering classes and workshops for people of all ages and skill levels, organizing local tournaments and events, and partnering with schools and community organizations to introduce archery to more people.

The Olympic archery academy aim to build a strong community of archers in the state, and help to increase awareness of archery as a sport.

Our Founder & Head Coach

Mr. Bhagya Nath is the founder and head coach of our archery coaching academy. With over 17 years of experience in Target archery, National Judge of Archery Association of India. He has become a well-known figure in the archery community. He began his career in archery in Wayanad, in the Indian bow category, before transitioning to the recurve bow category.

Throughout his archery career, Mr. Nath has achieved great success, including winning a bronze medal at the national level, and many medals at both state and university levels. He completed his BSc in Physics and BPEd from Calicut University, and later went on to complete his NSNIS in archery from SAI Kolkata. Recently He finished AAI Level 1 Archery course from Bangalore Karnataka

In addition to his archery experience, Mr. Nath has also spent four years abroad in the field of physical education and archery, gaining valuable insights and knowledge to bring back to his coaching here in Kerala.

Prior to founding our archery coaching academy, Mr. Nath spent over 7 years teaching physical education in schools. During this time, he coached many students and teams to success, with his school teams winning numerous medals in both Tamil Nadu state championships and CBSE national championships.

Mr. Nath's wealth of experience, combined with his passion for archery and dedication to coaching, make him an excellent leader for our academy. Under his guidance, we aim to develop skilled archers in Kerala and promote the sport of archery to a wider audience.
